Ripper Street to return to Ireland
Axed BBC One period crime drama Ripper Street is now set to return for a third season, Timberland Outlet Uk and will once again be filmed in Ireland.
Confirmation by Bord Scann na h Irish Film Board and Element Pictures of the show Irish return followed the news that Amazon Prime Instant Video formerly LoveFilm had struck a deal to revive the BBC series, which stars Matthew Macfadyen, Jerome Flynn and Adam Rothenberg.
Filming will Nike Air Max 1 Sale begin in May and the production will again be based in Clancy Barracks in Dublin for several months. The first and second series of Ripper Street employed 5,000 Irish cast, extras and crew and contributed in total to the Irish economy.
James Hickey, Chief Executive Bord Scann na h Irish Film Board, said: "This is very good news for the Irish film and television industry. Ripper Street has benefited from the Irish Film Board International Production Fund which aims to attract major TV and film projects to film on location in Ireland with Irish cast and crew.
