| Driver of the Canter truck involved in the accident that claimed the life of 24-year-old Levi Leon Seecharran, at Versailles, West Bank Demerara, on Tuesday is slated to appear at the Vreed-en-Hoop Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.According to reports reaching this newspaper, investigations into the tragic accident have revealed that the driver,Marcus Maye Womens Jersey, at the time of the accident, was the owner of the truck and that he was unlicensed.The truck was registered to Mohammed Z. Khan of Sea View,J.R. Smith Cavaliers Jersey, Anna Catherina, West Coast Demerara. It was reported that the owner had in fact employed a driver recently but had chosen to drive on the fateful day.Seecharran, who was a driver attached to a city taxi service, was heading to work at the time of his demise,Gustavo Gomez Jersey, a situation his family, particularly his 25-year-old wife Vanita, can scarcely come to terms with.According to reports it was some time after 05:00 hours on Tuesday that Seecharran’s car HB 5633 collided with Canter truck GLL 8336,Andrew Desjardins Jersey, which was travelling in the opposite direction, on the Versailles Public Road creating what was described by many as a gruesome scene.When this newspaper arrived on the scene just after 06:00 hours both the mangled car and the truck which sustained a damaged front, were positioned on the western side of the thoroughfare. There was no sign of the driver of the truck but inside the car Seecharran’s limp body was tilted over to the passenger side and it was evident that he sustained head injuries. The two had struck up an intimate relationship about six years ago but had only tied the knot two years ago.She related that the man loved his son so much he just wanted his wife to stay home and take care of the child and ensure that he did not eat certain foods he did not like.Roach revealed that her now dead brother was in the interior a few months back and had become ill with malaria and jaundice. It was for this very reason she disclosed that she invited her brother to stay with her family at Ruimzeight in order to nurse him back to health.She said it was only a few weeks ago the man recovered and decided to start hunting for a job, which he secured at the city taxi service.According to Roach,Ashtone Morgan Jersey, when her brother began working at the service he would leave early in the morning and return late at nights, as he had to catch public transportation to make the long journey to and fro.And it was only on Sunday that the manager of the service decided to allow Seecharran to take the car home to ease his transportation troubles, Shondell recounted, even as she lamented that that decision resulted in his death.“He just died like that.
