Justice Holder then adjourned the trial for more than two hours following which the witness resumed her testimony.Lysek said that she asked Sahadeo why he shot Vishnu because Sahadeo told her that was the gun he had used to kill Vishnu. She also said that Sahadeo asked her to borrow $1500 and she asked him for what and his response was “to buy bullets.” She claimed she told him she had no money and left Boucher’s home but she did not tell anyone what transpired there as she was afraid.On October 27, 2005,Wholesale Jerseys USA, she was taken to the Vreed-en-Hoop Police Station where she saw Boucher and his wife, Coreen Brooks. She denied that she had given the statement to help her friend, Boucher.Earlier, Ballistics Expert, Sergeant Eon Jackson, had testified that the .38 Special Smith and Wesson revolver taken to him for analysis was the gun from which the .38 bullet was fired.Corporal Hazrat Mohamed had testified that at 1:07am on October 10, 2005, the two accused and three other men were arrested by the police and taken to Leonora Police Station where Kassim had told them that one of the men in the bus had thrown out a gun as the police was stopping them.Kassim volunteered to take the police officers where the gun was thrown out and when they arrived at the area at Stewartville Old Road, he picked up a yellow cloth, unwrapped same and Mohamed had retrieved the gun which was forwarded for ballistics examination.Corporal Norris Harry had also testified that he witnessed the autopsy performed on Santie’s body and Dr. Nehaul Singh had removed two warheads from the body and handed same over to him. One was a .38 special bullet which Sergeant Jackson said had been discharged from the .38 Smith and Wesson revolver.Both the revolver and the fired bullet were admitted into evidence based on applications made by the prosecution.The trial continues today.
