Chief Justice Ian Chang yesterday ruled that the election of Patricia Chase-Green as Deputy Mayor of Georgetown is invalid.City Councilor Llewellyn John had moved to the High Court to challenge the methodology used toPatricia Chase-Greenelect the Deputy Mayor.John had complained against the conduct of the election to fill the vacancy of Deputy Mayor following the death of Robert Williams.His argument was that the election held by the then Town Clerk Yonette Pluck should have been a special election meeting of the Council.
