Your IXA Group of the UPV/EHU University in the Basque Country has helped to improve the use of the colossal digital library Europeana. The Library currently offers 15 million content components of the field of culture in a range of formats (images, texts, video and audio sequences). The IXA Group features enriched all this content with language technologies in order to assist in users' searches and offer more extensive information. This work is part of the ecu project known as PATHS (Personal Access To cultural Heritage Places). During the next academic season these technologies, as well as others, will be covered at the UPV/EHU in the User's Degree Course on Vocabulary Analysis and Processing.
