Ramesh Persaud,Skal Labissiere Kentucky Jersey, 48,Peyton Siva Louisville Jersey, a Stabroek Market vendor, pleaded guilty to the charge which read,Magic Johnson Michigan State Jersey, that on December 26, at Stabroek Market,Kansas State Wildcats Jerseys, Georgetown,Mike Hart Michigan Jersey, he had in his possession 4.5 grams of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. The Magistrate also fined Persaud $30,000.Police Prosecutor,Memphis Tigers Jerseys, Corporal Deniro Jones told the court that on the day in question, police ranks were on patrol in the Stabroek Market,Ray Lewis Miami Jersey, when they saw Persaud acting in a suspicious manner.The ranks approached Persaud and told him that they were ‘plain clothes policemen’. The lawmen later searched him and found the illegal substance in his right side pants pocket.Persaud was arrested and taken to the Brickdam Police Station.The substance was weighed in his presence and the charge was later instituted. |
