| A taxi driver was shot and killed during an early morning home invasion, yesterday at La Parfaite Harmonie, West Bank Demerara, (WBD).The victim, who has been identified as Dennis Narine, 26, of Lot 598 La Parfaite Harmonie, WBD sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and was later pronounced dead on arrival at the West Demerara Regional hospital.Police in statement said that at about 2:00am yesterday, Narine was fast asleep with his wife and three children when he was aroused by noise at a glass window at his home. And we have just a few police who would ride around the area in the daytime and that’s it.
