| Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton, at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court, yesterday sentenced Derrick Joseph to three years’ imprisonment.The man pleaded guilty to possession of a 20-gauge cartridge and a 20 gauge single barrel shot gun without being the holder of a firearm licence on April 1, last at Aruka River, North West District.According to Joseph he had bought the gun from a man known as “Hendricks” for $2,000.
