We had an efficient first half of the school calendar year incorporating keyboarding, Word, PowerPoint, world wide web webquests and research, and improving online search skills, in conjunction with integrated classroom projects. Have a look at what in store with the second half of the school calendar year:
Grade Pre K did a great job practicing correct standby time with the mouse as well as learning the abc through a program called A to be able to Zap! Students will learn aspects of the computer and reinforce grade level skills through specialized computer software.
Grade K will continue to use enhance classroom learning through Kid Pix Cheap Mbt Trainers as well as other programs such as Learn About Figures, Thinkin Things, and Key Knowledge.
Grades 1 8 may review the features of Microsoft Word, and advance to other portions of this Microsoft Office Suite. As the Presidential Election season begins, special projects related to Elections will be included. Right here a snapshot of what we may be covering:
Grade 1: Carry on and learn basic features of Ms word through simple Word projects.
Grade 2: MS Expression Draw tools, Dinosaur webquest, and develop a Graph in Excel
Level 3: Catholic Schools Week challenge, My Favorite Season PowerPoint go show, Class Favorites worksheet and graph, and Butterfly webquest and Kid Pix project
Class 4: Catholic Schools Week venture, Solar System Webquest and PowerPoint presentation, Planets database plus spreadsheet, and format Acronym names poem in Expression
Grade 5: Catholic Schools 7 days project, learn to format instructions and Cinquain poems in Statement, Native Americans webquest and PowerPoint powerpoint presentation, Rainbow spreadsheet, and Animal classification posters
Grade 7: Advanced formatting project inside Word, review of methods of saving and saving digital details, Math formula spreadsheet, Setting webquest and Brochure project, Guide to HTML for websites, and also Graduation PowerPoint.
