They are accused of between December 23 and December 24, 2015, stealing one Jailing 125 ladies motor cycle CH 1036 valued at $189,000. The bike belonged to Suraj Narine, a taxi driver of No. 74 Village,Cheap China NFL Jerseys, Corriverton, Berbice.The prosecution’s case is that on December 23, last, Narine parked his motorcycle under his house and retired to bed. Upon checking the next morning he realized that his bike was missing. A report was made at the Springlands Police Station and investigations began. The bike was not seen again until January 29, when it showed up and was placed on the boat bound for the Orealla/Siparuta area.The discovery of the bike was reported to the owner. He quickly informed the police who descended to the market wharf and made the interception and arrest just in time.Around 20:05 hrs that Friday, the vessel was just about to leave the wharf when the police turned up and ordered the captain to halt. The police subsequently boarded the boat and quickly found the bike without number plate and well secured.The men who were all on board and were hiding were subsequently arrested and taken into custody. They were placed on $50,000 bail.The matter is set to continue on Tuesday at the Springlands Magistrate’s court. |
